Mission Statement

The Cotswold Health Centre is committed to promoting health and well-being through the provision of Alternative, Complementary and Holistic Therapies. It is our mission to provide the widest range of therapies possible that provide alternatives to mainstream medicine. We are dedicated to the principal of “first do no harm” and treating the cause not the symptom. We believe that health is a state of being and not merely the absence of disease.

At the Cotswold Health Centre, the customer experience is fundamental, and forms the basis of our approach to staff training, management and direction. As such, a client’s treatment begins the moment they walk through the door. We see our reception and waiting area as integral to the overall experience and outcome of any treatment. We make every effort to give a friendly welcome, (rather than a clinical one). Clients experiences and treatment out comes form the basis of our policies. We are dynamic and proactive in our approach to change.

As a professional clinic offering alternative therapies we expect the highest standards of service and care from our staff and practitioners. We expect:

• Accountability, respect, confidentiality and integrity as required by our therapists’ adherence to the Code of Ethics of their respective Associations.

• The upholding of high professional standards of scholarship and clinical practice, through our therapists’ professional competence.

• Inclusivity and diversity, for instance welcoming those of all ages, cultures, ethnicities, genders, abilities, nationalities, races, religions, and sexual orientations.

• A systemic and holistic approach that attends to all dimensions of the human condition, including intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual, relational and social well-being.

The Cotswold Health Centre is an “Ethical business” . That is to say that profit is no more important than any other consideration within the business. A business without ethics is like a business without profit and we could not run either. As an ethical business, where possible our suppliers will share our ethos which includes:
