With its relatable characters, heartfelt emotions, and a touch of humor, Unravel Me promises a captivating and emotionally resonant reading experience. Dixie is flat broke, and her best - make that only - friend, Landon, is throwing her a lifeline from the Great Beyond. My virtual shelves have more hockey romances than any other sport combined, with NFL second, so in my head hockey is bigger than it apparently really is. In fact, I thoroughly enjoy spending the majority of my game time in the penalty box before leaving the arena with a new girl on my arm each night.

When my kids were little, the questions I got from other parents were, Are you putting your son in hockey? If I have to read another book that has ADULTS (this is not a YA, teen, New Age/college age book) saying things like “Amazeballs” “Bestie” and/or “Catching Feelings”, I’m going to stop reading books altogether. I can’t say that I recommend this as a workday listen though – there are steamy situations throughout, lots of language, and, honestly, the story is so good that you might find it too distracting to work, lol.
